Ask Anxiety
Often we think an anxious thought and allow it to spiral into something scarier than reality. By challenging your thoughts, you can prevent that spiraling and retrain your brain to be less anxious. Start by recognizing an anxiety provoking thought and then ask yourself 3 questions:
1) Is it true?
2) Is it kind?
3) Is it helpful?
If the answer to any of these 3 questions is no, then that thought doesn’t deserve anymore of your energy. You can then change your thought to something more realistic, more kind and more helpful.
